This question has been raised and discussed many times in especially the health, vegetarian, and bodybuilding forums all across the internet. Unfortunately it has also been surrounded by mystery, misinformation, subjective opinions and fictitious rumours.
Some ‘experts’ representing the dairy industry, claim that whey protein is the best quality protein, and some vegetarians (obviously representing the direct opposite group) claims that plant protein and especially hemp protein is the most effective and healthy protein. For now I’ll focus more on the advantages and disadvantages of each protein powder supplement – hemp vs whey.

Are you confused? I know I was 5 years ago. Who should you believe? Let me tell you something important…
We’re constantly told that whey protein powder works, it’s the most widely known protein powder supplement, and you definitely do see relatively quick results from drinking it (combined with a healthy diet of course). So why on earth should you even consider hemp protein powder as an alternative to whey protein powder?
The answer is which protein powder is the best obvious to everyone.Hopefully, by the time you reach the end of this article, you’ll know ALL the answers to this question (and yes, there are several good reasons!).
Whey protein is an abundant protein, it is a complete protein and it does have a pretty a good reputation. All your friends are probably using it and the canisters look nice and appealing. The marketing of these products are done very professionally because the tubs and jars looks VERY tempting (don’t you think?). It comes in all kinds of different colors and flavours, for all kinds of purposes targeting different kinds of needy buyers, and you can buy it at most health stores. So naturally you’d expect it to be good for your health right? .. WRONG!!
..however, is that scientists recently have discovered that whey protein is NOT readily digestible for the human body. Whey protein powder is merely a by-product from cheese production. We’re simply not meant to eat this garbage!
I’m not saying the following to generate a conspiracy theory, and I’m not saying this is how it is either (I’m leaving that up to you, what you believe in), but personally I do think it’s a possibility worth considering.

Facts About Hemp Powder Is Better

Logically those who produce cheese would really hate to throw out this enormous amount of by-product (because who would want to throw away large sums of money?). Whey protein powder is a HUGE industry, with powerful interests behind it and supporting it. That’s why I think there’s a very good chance that this might easily be one of the reasons why whey protein powder is so popular, eventhough it’s proven to have a ton of side effects.
Enough of these speculations! Now, let’s look at some hard facts, in order for us to conclude which is best, hemp protein vs whey protein powder. Like for an example the benefits and side effects of both whey and hemp protein.
Your bloats will become even nastier, and you WILL undoubtedly bloat more often. You’ll most likely get problems with a bad breath and if you’re into weight lifting, and consumes large amounts of whey protein powder, you can look forward to suffering from Intestinal Toxemia. That again reduces amino acids and any nutrients absorption into you body cells. Since these are not absorped into your muscles and tissue, it is left behind in your stomach, just sitting and waiting – it will greatly increase your waistline!

Whey in itself tastes disgusting. I couldn’t even drink it without puking, and actually there was a time, long ago, I would do such a silly thing.
To cover up the natural taste, whey protein powder supplements are loaded with poisonous artificial sweeteners, and the only thing they tell you is that it is ‘sugarfree’ or ‘without added sugars’.. Most of the time, thats NOT a good sign!
I’ll pick the most popular and bestselling whey protein product from Amazon, for this example, to show you what I mean. It really doesn’t matter which product I had picked, since it’s almost the same in every product I’ve seen so far.
If you don’t know a lot about nutrition this would probably look very normal to you. But actually, like most other whey protein product, it’s stuffed with dangerous artificial chemicals and sweeteners which you would NEVER put inside your body, if only you knew what harm they actually do to your body.
In the picture above we see that there’s Acesulfame Potassium (also known as Acesulfame K). We look that up by simply googling and here’s the shocking truth..
“Acesulfame Potassium (K) was approved for use by the FDA as a safe artificial sweetener in July, l988. It is a derivative of acetoacetic acid. Unfortunately, several potential problems associated with the use of acesulfame have been raised. They are based largely on animal studies since testing on humans remains limited. The findings showed the following:
Acesulfame K stimulates insulin secretion in a dose dependent fashion thereby possibly aggravating reactive hypoglycemia (“low blood sugar attacks”).
Acesulfame K apparently produced lung tumors, breast tumors, rare types of tumors of other organs (such as the thymus gland), several forms of leukemia and chronic respiratory disease in several rodent studies, even when less than maximum doses were given.
